Find public information and, only if you mean to, let an assistant see your CRM.
Sales work splits into two jobs that should not be installed as one blob. The first is research: find a company's site, read a page, and come back with sources a person can open. The second is the CRM: contacts, deals, and notes that belong to the business. A search server helps with the first. A CRM server is a login to the second, and several of them can create or edit records, not only read them.
Start with research on an account you already know. Ask for the public pages that describe what the company sells, then open those pages yourself. If the assistant paraphrases without a link, or mixes up two companies with similar names, it is not ready to brief a call. Search tools in this directory, such as Exa, Tavily, Brave Search, and Firecrawl, are for that public-web step. They are not a substitute for your own notes about a relationship.
A CRM connection is a different decision. HubSpot's hosted server, documented by HubSpot, can read and write CRM data using the permissions of the person who connects it. That is useful when you want a draft of an update you will check. It is a bad idea when an assistant is allowed to change deal stages, write notes, or email customers without a person reading the result first. Prefer the smallest permission the product offers, and use a user who does not own the whole portal if your admin can set that up.
Do not ask the assistant to invent pipeline math. If you want a summary of open deals, the numbers have to come from the CRM, and you should spot-check them against the screen you already trust. The same rule applies to prospect lists. A search result is a lead to verify, not a list you upload into a sequence because the model sounded confident.
Cold email and sales-collateral skills, including some of the marketing skill pack, only change how the assistant writes. They do not send mail. Sending still depends on a connector you add on purpose, such as a workspace or CRM tool. Read that connector's permissions before you let it send anything in your name.
Every listing on this page was summarized from the publisher's README or docs in October 2026, and each one is marked untested. We have not measured reply rates, and we will not pretend we have. Try one research tool on a real account you know, then decide whether a CRM connection is worth the access it asks for.
A free pack of instruction files that teach an AI agent marketing work such as conversion reviews, copy, SEO, ads, email, and launch planning. It is built for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other agents that can read the Agent Skills format.
Firecrawl's official server lets an agent search, scrape pages into clean text, map a site, crawl, and interact with a page. A keyless hosted tier can search, scrape, and parse within limits; crawl, map, and the research agent need an API key.
HubSpot hosts an MCP server at mcp.hubspot.com so an AI tool can read and update CRM data with the signed-in person's existing permissions. The GitHub repository at the source link is empty, so this entry follows HubSpot's own docs rather than code in that repo.
Exa's official server searches the web and reads pages as clean text for an agent. The hosted server works anonymously with rate limits; higher limits and the Exa Agent tool need a sign-in or an API key.
Tavily's server gives an agent search, extract, map, and crawl tools against the live web. You can use Tavily's hosted address with an API key, or run the server yourself.
Brave's official server connects an agent to the Brave Search API for web, image, video, and local results. Full local-business details require a Brave Search Pro plan; otherwise local search falls back to web results.

Questions
Will a search tool email my prospects?+–
No. The search servers here read the public web. Sending email requires a different connection, such as a CRM or workspace tool, and you should turn that on only when you intend to.
Is the HubSpot GitHub repo the product?+–
The GitHub repository linked from the listing is empty. HubSpot's hosted server is the product, and the listing follows HubSpot's own documentation for what it can do.
What should I try first?+–
Pick a company you already know and ask a search tool for public pages, then open the links. Connect a CRM only after someone who administers it has read the permissions.
Are these ranked by which one sellers prefer?+–
No. We do not collect usage or win-rate numbers. Featured means a reasonable place to start for that kind of work, not a popularity contest.
